After I read Lily's story(The red coat), I have had almost the same feelings. When I came to America, I was amazed and excited, because everthing is new and different from China, but I felt sad, because I didn't know any English. I went to South Seattle Community College ESL class, and learned English from the basic A B C. I learn a lot of things from my teacher and classmates. I feel comfortable and to think America is a the strongest, freest, and most democratic country. I like this country, so after about 10 years of studying, I took the test, I became an Amercian citizen. Now life is full of challenges, I still need to learn new things and improve my English, so I came to this class.
